The Mobile Spectrum FAR-139 Airfield Runway and Lighting solution is built for airport operations staff to comply with FAA-mandated inspections of runways and lighting systems. Airport operations managers must perform these inspections every eight hours and maintain an accurate and detailed record of every discrepancy.

Using the Mobile Spectrum m-Inspector® solution, these inspections are simplified with the added benefit of being able to collect images and capture GPS coordinates. Additionally, users can request work orders directly from the field.

Output from field inspections is formatted to the FAR-139 report standard specification and is available from the Mobile Spectrum web interface for printing, archiving, or sending via email or fax.

Current users of Mobile Spectrum’s Airfield Runway and Lighting application include Reagan National Airport and Washington Dulles Airport.
